Security in Papua is Key to the Success of the MBG Program, Says Arnold Ronsumbre

Mimika, Central Papua – Arnold Ronsumbre, Secretary of the Mimika Regency Student Council Communication Forum (FKDM), has expressed his support for President Prabowo Subianto’s priority programs, particularly the Free Nutritious Meal (MBG) program. He emphasized that this initiative is a crucial step toward improving the welfare of the Papuan people and driving Indonesia’s overall progress.

“As native Papuans and Indonesian citizens, we have the right to benefit from all government policies aimed at Papua’s welfare. The Free Nutritious Meal program is one of the central government’s efforts to care for the Papuan people,” said Arnold Ronsumbre in his statement on Wednesday (October 11, 2023).

Arnold also extended his gratitude to President Prabowo Subianto for implementing the MBG program, which he believes has had a significant positive impact on the community. “We hope this program continues to expand, as Free Nutritious Meals contribute to Indonesia’s progress. Proper nutrition is the foundation for building a healthy and intelligent generation,” he added.

In addition to supporting the MBG program, Arnold called on all citizens to help maintain security in Papua. “We urge everyone to work together to uphold peace and order in Papua. Let’s prevent the spread of hoaxes that could divide our unity,” he urged.

Arnold also expressed appreciation for the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI) and the National Police (Polri) for their active role in maintaining security and stability in Papua. “We are grateful to TNI and Polri for their continuous efforts to create a safe and conducive environment for the Papuan people. Security is the key to supporting government programs like MBG,” he stated.

FKDM Mimika Regency remains committed to supporting government programs aimed at enhancing public welfare, including the Free Nutritious Meal program. Arnold stressed that collaboration between the government, society, and security forces is essential to ensuring the program’s success.

“Let’s unite in supporting government programs and maintaining peace in Papua. By doing so, we can achieve a prosperous Papua and a more advanced Indonesia,” Arnold Ronsumbre concluded.
